What is Personal Training?
Personal training is a customized exercise program based on individual needs. A certified professional trainer will determine an exercise prescription designed to meet your individual goals. Your personalized program will help maximize your results, while minimizing your training time.
At WFS, our trainers have a wide spectrum of personalities and training backgrounds. This diversity allows our trainers to provide training sessions designed to meet and exceed all expectations of our members. Because we feel it is important that our members are in the hands of qualified professionals, all our trainers have been nationally certified. Each trainer has demonstrated written and practical competency to design and implement fitness programs for healthy individuals.
Why hire a Personal Trainer?
Besides providing a tremendous amount of external motivation, a trainer can help you stay on track with your fitness program. It is extremely important to periodically vary your exercise program. Performing the same workouts for long periods of time will result in fitness plateaus. Yoga
Beginner: An introduction to yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques, with emphasis on posture, alignment and body awareness. We recommend taking this class more than once.
All-Level: Reviews and expands the basics with additional, more challenging postures. Home practice encouraged.
Continuing-Intermediate: An intermediate class of posture flow and breath (vinyasa). The pace is brisk, requiring knowledge of the postures, strength, concentration and practice.
